Overview:- The Geo team builds the most accurate, comprehensive,
and useful maps for our users. More than a billion people rely on
client Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily
lives. That includes sailing down the Amazon river, choosing where
to get a bite of pizza, flying over a 3D version of New York City
and saving time commuting. Geo helps merchants get their businesses
on client, and more than a million developers use the power of
client Maps to enhance their apps and websites. The Driving & Auto
team within Geo is seeking a highly skilled, collaborative designer
to help us create beautiful and intuitive navigation experiences
and plot a course for the future of driving and auto.Job
Requirements:Overall Responsibilities:- As a Senior UX/Visual
Designer on the Driving Design team within client Geo candidate
will be responsible for conducting product audits, identifying
patterns, and creating flexible, enterprise-grade visual design
components that can be used by all of client Driving products with
a core focus on the coherent interaction and behavior of the
components.- Command and understand all of the client Driving
products patterns and components.- Design new patterns and
components to reflect the needs of client Driving product teams,
businesses, and users.- Respond to and close bugs related to
current components by improving designs.- Work closely with your
design lead, Eng and PM partners to ensure components and patterns
are well-documented and maintained.- Contribute strategically to
the development of an improved process around pattern definition
and documentation.- Create aesthetically excellent work that is
true to the client brand spiritRequired Skills:- Bachelor's degree
in Graphic Design or a related field.- 2-4 years of
post-baccalaureate experience in UX/Visual Design or a related
field.- 7+ years of professional experience.- 2+ years of
experience establishing functional design systems for various
brands and/or products- Ability to demonstrate a collaborative
approach with design and engineers- Detail-oriented and organized,
with strong interaction skills for patterns and components-
Experience with layout design, typography, written, and visual
communications- Experience working closely with UX and product
management teams in the tech industry- Strong experience with Icon
designNice to have Skills (not required): - Experience design in
games; and multimedia exhibits. - Experience in Fast-paced
