Description The Business Development Executive opportunity is a newly created role at MedInsight. The candidate hired in this critical and highly visible role will work with the Principal & Head of Sales to achieve revenue goals. This role will be instrumental in identifying, developing and securing new business across a national territory focused on the entire suite of MedInsight's products and solutions. This Business Development Executive opportunity is a highly consultative sales role; however, the right candidate will be passionate about rolling up their sleeves and taking action to get things done. From developing the territory to collaborating with pre-sales and engineering for product and solution demos to writing proposals and closing deals the individual hired into this role will have the opportunity to craft their career trajectory at MedInsight.   • Conduct outbound opportunity development through partnership with marketing
  • Convert prospect relationships through regular calls, emails, marketing efforts and business development meetings with decision makers
  • Listen to prospects and clients; probe deeper to understand business needs and work to create solutions from the ground up
  • Add, maintain and track business development efforts, forecasts and activity in Salesforce Travel Responsibilities: --Up to 30% nationwide *Due to COVID-19 precautions, MedInsight team members are on a travel freeze Basic Qualifications:
    • 2 or more years of full cycle new business development including the following:
      • Success building new territories through cold calling, marketing and relationship development
      • Adept liaising with VP, SVP and C-suite decision makers
      • Experience creating proposals and closing deals
      • Track record of meeting and exceeding quota
      • Skilled with web-based product demonstrations
      • Preference for candidates that have been selling in the digital healthcare and analytics space, insurance analytics or venture capital space Educational Requirements:
        • Bachelor's degree preferably in statistics, mathematics, finance, economics or engineering
        • Master's degree or MBA preferred Desired Experience and Traits:
