Position Description
The Lead User Experience Researcher/Designer will conduct market research and competitive analyses to identify trends, capabilities, and requirements. Will identify questions, plan, and conduct research to answer questions, and synthesize data into actionable recommendations and designs. Develop design artifacts to visualize requirements and support team in on-going understanding of user roles, needs, challenges, and opportunities. Execute workflow, task, and information analyses to inform design and information architecture. Will use design tools/systems to design interfaces and interactions that emphasize user performance and provide value. Additional duties include:

• Work closely and communicate with users, stakeholders, and developers, to gather feedback, iterate on products, and conduct product assessments/testing.--
• Plan and conduct usability studies to identify issues and potential solutions that meet user needs.--
• Make data-driven design recommendations and deliver via written reports or oral presentation. Identify other areas requiring human centered design inputs and support teams, as necessary. This position can be located anywhere in the US. Required Skills
  Must have experience in practicing Agile and Lean UX as part of a product team. Must have extensive experience in conducting the following activities: market research, requirements elicitation, analysis, information architecture, user interaction/interface design, development, and formative/summative testing. Must be capable of independent planning and execution of design activities, engagement with users and stakeholders across various environments, seamless collaboration with developers and team members, and clear communication of findings, results, and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders. Must be able to apply extensive knowledge and experience in HCD and UX to solve problems. Must be a US citizen and eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.-- Education
  BS in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent.--
