Job Description:

We are building an entirely new retail channel for Amazon and need your account management expertise to help us onboard, launch and coach local heavy/bulky Sellers to success!

We seek an energetic, methodical and entrepreneurial individual who couples account management and sales operations experience to help us launch and support an entirely new class of Seller, creating a clear path to success for local heavy/bulky Sellers to list their selection, drive Customer awareness and fulfil products and services through Amazon. In this high-profile role, you will join an exciting team on the ground floor, helping Sellers grow and scale, while simultaneously identifying and defining Seller pain points, opportunities and growth mechanisms. This role covers all aspects of the heavy/bulky Seller journey, from selection identification, new Seller onboarding and coaching, marketing effectiveness, ongoing support and Seller performance consistency, all while challenging the status quo and building for the long term.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, Customer obsessed, versed in working in a sales-driven environment and comfortable with ambiguity, bringing a proven track record of successfully using Customer insights to remove obstacles and grow a business. Long term success means growing into a strategic visionary, driving improvements in network efficiency, selection growth, and channel scale while innovating across multiple dimensions. You must be an effective communicator, a strong collaborator across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders, and able to work independently and as a leader of peers.

  1. 3+ years of relevant account management or sales operations experience leading clients to success by continuously growing their business

  2. Highly organized and results oriented with a high degree of ownership

  3. Comfort with ambiguity, and ability to adjust strategies in a rapidly evolving business

  4. Strong analytical skills, including using data to identify and isolate defects in Customer experience

  5. Critical thinking and decision-making skills

  6. Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree

  7. Experience with retail, ecommerce, sales force management or related experience that demonstrates strong operations and business management skills

  8. Knowledge of SQL

  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills

  10. Experience driving results in cross-functional organizations

  11. Demonstrated bias for action

  12. Ability to work in an ambiguous and deadline-driven work environment

  13. Demonstrated passion for delivering a great customer experience
