At AWS Worldwide Field Enablement, Training, & Communications (WW ETC), we are seeking an accomplished internal communications leader to develop our Go-to-Field (GTF) strategy for worldwide enablement programs. As the GTF Communications Lead, your responsibilities will include building a community and process to ensure communications success across the team's portfolio of programs. This includes defining the optimal launch communications strategy for each initiative, aligning key priorities and messages with stakeholders across the business, enabling co-creation of launch communications with global enablement team members and field (sales) team members, and advising on communications channels and content.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Scale engagement with internal communications teams worldwide, across all geos, industries, verticals & segments.
  • Create communications strategies to drive engagement and advocacy from WW ETC with executives by connecting programs to clear business results that tie to AWS growth strategies.
  • Proactively generate momentum around internal communications campaigns, driving dialogue and education with the field (sales) employees via AWS global and local communications teams.
  • Conceptualize, structure, and execute Field-facing communications programs in collaboration with content creators, enablement, and other communications teams.
  • Prepare and deliver business reviews to AWS senior management and stakeholders regarding progress toward communications objectives.
  • Build strong working relationships across key stakeholder groups to ensure communications align with strategic initiatives that drive Field engagement and productivity.

  • A bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years' of internal communications experience
  • Experience working with a global employee base
  • Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Ability to apply insights to drive Field adoption of enablement products and services and guide local and embedded communications teams
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
