Job Description:

Modern Electron has an immediate opening for a Welder/Fabricator to build prototype devices and test stands. • TIG/MIG weld parts -
• Develop, document, and execute assembly processes -
• Perform mechanical builds and assemblies -
• Follow work instructions to ensure work is performed according to specifications
• Perform cleaning, tolerance measurements, and quality checks on parts and prototype assemblies
• Provide assistance to engineers in the assembly and operation of pilot plants
• Communicate work status to team members and managementMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School/G.E.D or equivalent experience -
  • 5 or more years of TIG/MIG welding experience -
  • 5 or more years of metal fabrication experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and/or Google Suite productsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • AWS Welding Certificate
