Northwest Kidney Centers seeks an IT Data Architect Lead to join
the team located in Burien, WA.
Responsibilities
The Information Technology Data Architect Lead reports to the
Director, Information Technology and is responsible for designing
and executing data architecture strategy, including the design of
complex repositories aligned to data requirements, analysis, and
metadata management, facilitating data governance, and educates
staff on data related policies and procedures to ensure that data
reporting is accurate, accessible, and maintained.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline
or related field of study (e.g. Business, Computer Science, MIS,
Software Engineering) OR minimum of five years of work experience
with a broad data-centric background and database-oriented
applications
Minimum of five years experience in database and warehouse
architecture and administration across any platform
Knowledge of data modeling concepts, modern data lake approaches,
alternative schemas and approaches to transactional and analytics
data repositories
Prior experience with programming languages and big data tools, BI
and visualization tools, executing Proof of Concepts and working in
both waterfall and agile environments
Prior experience managing database instances in cloud
environments
Preferred qualifications
Prior healthcare experience
Shift
Monday - Friday, Full-time, Days 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
