Job Description:

Providence is calling an Environmental Coordinator (1.0 FTE, Variable Shift) to work in Long Term Care at Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington.
This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all resident rooms and common areas, except the kitchen.
Offering a $1,000.00 sign on bonus to any new, external candidate hired into this position.

In this position you will:

• 
  
• Cleans, polishes and disinfects assigned areas, furnishings and fixtures according to established housekeeping policies and procedures.
  
• Periodically cleans windows, walls, ceilings and doors in patient rooms and common areas as assigned.
  
• Cleans floors with dry mops, wet mops, sweeping or vacuuming, spot cleaning and disinfecting where and when necessary, referring to task list if applicable.
  
• Operate all floor and cleaning equipment used to perform job; strips, waxes and maintains linoleum floors on a scheduled basis as assigned. At some facilities, may be required to perform maintenance/repair of equipment.
  
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, refilling supplies as needed, such as paper towels, toilet paper and soap dispensers; cleans other common areas if assigned, such as dining room, offices, etc.
