Gardens!The IT Project Coordinator functions as a facilitator
across numerous areas of IT department functions, including project
management, documentation administration, contract/order
management, communications, and many others. Works to organize and
manage project and task workflows, and augment support staff when
necessary. Adheres to the customer service philosophy by providing
excellent customer service to team members, residents and their
families as defined by Merrill Gardens policy.
- Manages a variety of projects of varying size and complexity
within the IT group, including infrastructure upgrades, new
community builds, community onboarding/offboarding, software
implementations, and others as specified.
- Assists and/or supports projects involving IT but owned by
other departments or vendors, ensuring IT fulfills its role in
these projects at the highest level of quality.
- Manages the contract draft, review, approval, and documentation
process for new technology services across the enterprise.
- Shepherds multiple concurrent telecom-related orders through
design, quoting, signature, and fulfillment, ensuring vendors and
carriers are held accountable to commitments and schedules.
- Assists helpdesk personnel with asset receipt, database entry,
record-keeping, tracking, and disposal.
- Partners with IT personnel to maintain an accurate and current
documentation store and knowledge base.
- Manages library of polices and procedures relating to technical
standards, security compliance, and other areas as needed.
- Assists IT leadership with company communications around
projects, regular newsletters, scheduling training sessions,
etc.
- Performs basic intranet and SharePoint/Teams related to content
management, forms libraries, etc.
- Liaises with outside vendors to schedule and monitor work,
ensure quality results, and articulate expectations and status. We
