Job Description
The Enterprise Architect will help the Digital Experience Leaders realize their future business capabilities. This position will be driving the definition & adoption of architecture principles, tenable standards, best practices, and design patterns, across the technology team.
What you get to do in this role:

  • Lead strategic conversations with business and IT executives, on attaining key business outcomes via digital maturity and transformation
    • Influence stakeholders and help them design and shape Employee Experience programs for the future
    • Establish and maintain the three-year target state reference architecture
    • Establish technology and process standards that can be consumed by solution architects and BSAs to implement
    • Be a key part of the Enterprise Architecture function to ensure alignment of the architecture with technology and information governance processes
    • Ensure application and solution design is compliant with enterprise architecture standards and enterprise reference architecture
      • Participate in in-depth evaluations of new technology platforms and provide recommendations
      • Ensure tracking and remediation of technical debt
      • Understand, advocate and improve upon technology strategy, frameworks, standards, and best practices across the enterprise
      • Be the go-to person / SME on processes and systems
      • Act as a mentor for colleagues and help drive knowledge-sharing
        To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
        • 10+ years of Industry experience with a minimum of 5 years as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect
        • Experience Architecting solutions and building out Target state architectures and roadmaps for medium to large sized organizations
          • Understand the significant industry shifts taking place in the current Talent Management and workplace service landscape, and be able to design forward-thinking, innovative and impactful solutions.
          • Inquisitive mind, endless curiosity and passion for learning about users, industries and new approaches to doing things
          • Proven experience with taking abstract business ideas and converting them to process and system needs
          • Deep domain knowledge on what is "best in class" digital experience for Enterprise SaaS products
          • Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence to single handedly drive presentations with Executives and Senior leaders in the company
            • Experience with defining and evangelizing a reference architecture
            • Strong communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
            • BS/MS in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
            • TOGAF Certification preferred
            • Exposure to Workday, Talent management solutions and payroll systems preferred

              Work personas

              A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
              A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
              A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
