Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Business Operations Specialist (Level 5) to join our Business Operations team. In this role, the focus will be on supporting the senior leadership team for BGS Total Quality, working as a strategic partner on critical Focus Area projects and initiatives across BGS. -This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to reside within proximity & perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Guides and facilitates the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives and deploy impact analyses
  • Coordinates and clarifies the analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business goals and develop business case
  • Provides coaching and guidance to less experienced personnel
  • Coordinates the commitments with internal and external organizations for large scale complex plans to fulfill the broad level strategies established by executive leadership. Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case
  • Presents plans to executive leadership to gain approval
  • Provides implementation direction for work authorization
  • Facilitates the establishment of an overall management system architecture by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices
  • Develops and maintains visibility system in support of the architecture
  • Utilizes the management systems and processes to provide status information on commitments and compliance to plan
  • Ensures follow up action for issue resolution. Represents executive management to internal and external business interests in areas such as communicating business policy, strategy and direction
  • Assists in task management and provides expert business advice to enable a more efficient use of executive resourcesEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
    • 5+ years' experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
    • Experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
    • Experience in Business Intelligence / data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
    • Experience leading or managing cross functional teams
    • Experience coaching and mentoring less experienced employeesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
      • Master's degree
      • Program Management Best Practices experience
      • Experience with Management Information Systems or Safety and Quality Operating Systems
      • Experience working with organizational change initiatives and/or implementation of enterprise level processesTypical Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
