Job Summary: You will be part of a team, building state of the art testing environments, as the last step before flight test.--- As a System Engineer, you will work with weapon system designers, to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy to support tactical software development, testing, and delivery to the warfighter.--- - We value diverse skills and experience, so don't hold back. Due to the nature of the business, remote work is not possible. - Also, up to 25% business travel may be required.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Develop test processes, test requirements, functional decompositions, interface modeling, and Embedded/Built-In Test recommendations -
  • Evaluate schematics and system testability in order to make design and test recommendations for fault isolation and test access
  • Perform supplier assessments by analyzing black box models and third-party documentation, including Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Collaborate across all engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Equipment network (TEn) capabilities and requirements with an eye towards how prime hardware should be tested at different levels
  • Troubleshooting and failure data, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment Qualifications You Must Have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
    • Knowledge of or experience using both Windows and Linux operating systems
    • Knowledge of or experience reading and understanding of electrical schematics
    • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance -prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Value:
      • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering
      • Engineering project, internship or co-op experience related to system testing, including planning, test execution, data collection and data examination
      • Experience in developing and evaluating hardware and test requirements
      • Experience using laboratory equipment, electronics, and software (such as: i.e., oscilloscope, DMM, Spectrum analyzer, and logic analyzer)
      • Experience with failure test, root cause and corrective action processes
      • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python
      • Knowledge of interfaces (physical, electrical, and logical) between components, units under test (UUT) and test platforms
      • Knowledge or courses in Model based engineering and architecture
      • Knowledge with DOORS or a related requirements database
      • Active Secret clearance
      • Administration or participation in college campus organizations, athletic teams, or community service groups
      • ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
      • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures
      • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
