Together we are empowered to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of our communities.As our Senior HR Business Partner at St. Michael Medical Center, you will help apply your broad range of talent and skills to support the employees of hospital. This is a hands-on role where you can showcase your expertise in our day-to-day operations including employee relations, employee engagement, labor relations (unions), performance development, conflict management, and training programs/initiatives. You champion diversity and complement our environment of inclusion by treating everyone with compassion and cultural sensitivity.If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us.Responsibilities:Serve as the main source of information for employeesProactively plan and align core HR responsibilities offering the most value to both our business and peopleAdvise employees, managers, and executive leaders on personnel mattersComfortable utilizing Human Resource Information Systems and administrative tools such as MS OfficeCollaborates with CoEs to support the accomplishment of business goals, objectives, and outcomesProvides direction and support to management regarding interpretation of policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreementsPartner with and serve as a resource to employees, management and Human Resources team to promote and maintain positive employee relations. Proactively identify, manage and facilitate the equitable resolution of job-related complaints and concerns.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 3 years HR or leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years HR or leadership experience in the discipline OR Master's Degree (With relevant experience; equivalent education and/or experience; experience through certifications.) HR experience should encompass generalist experience involving a high level of complexity and score or at least 2 or more areas of specialty involving a high level of complexity and scope, e.g., compensation, benefits, employee/labor relations, talent acquisition, etc. While you're busy impacting the healthcare industry, we'll take care of you with benefits that include health/dental/vision, FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, adoption assistance, and more!
