Responsibilities
Applies the knowledge and skill necessary to implement age
appropriate play and activity programs that provide normalization,
facilitate adjustment and meet the emotional and developmental
needs of hospitalized children and families.

Requirements
Required Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in child
development, education, or a related field; other combination of
education and experience that would provide similar competency may
be considered - Paid experience working with children, preferably
in a hospital setting - Experience in planning and carrying out
activities for individual children and groups of children Required
Credentials: - N/A Preferred: - Experience working with infants,
toddlers, school-age children and adolescents in a therapeutic
setting
In accordance with new Washington law for healthcare workers,
Seattle Children's requires that all staff be fully vaccinated
against COVID-19 on or before October 18, 2021, or before beginning
employment for start dates after October 18th.
Min to Max Hourly SalaryMin: USD $26.81/Hr. Max: USD $40.21/Hr.
Min to Max Annual SalaryMin Salary: USD $55,764.80/Hr. Max Salary:
USD $83,636.80/Hr.
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time
employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are
determined by multiple factors including equity, skills,
experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range
provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon
performance that is commensurate with the level of the
position.

outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on
various factors.
