Seagen and join us! Summary: Seagen is seeking a highly skilled and
collaborative scientist to perform research activities developing
novel therapeutic agents in the Cancer Target Discovery (CTD) team.
This individual will be responsible for research activities on
cross-functional project teams interrogating cancer mechanisms of
action and signaling pathways. They will play a critical role in
supporting the Research department's cancer target discovery
efforts to develop novel antibody-based therapeutics. They should
have a sustained record of being a strong scientist, team player,
strategic thinker, and an effective communicator. Principal
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in cancer cell biology and signaling pathways focused
on key biological areas of oncology
- Develops and executes research plans aimed at expanding our
understanding of therapeutic MOAs
- Generate and organize technical data to deliver effective
presentations in multiple forums
- Promote collaboration between project teams within
Research
- May provide research support/oversight for external
collaborations and/or MTAs and represent research on advisory
boards Required Qualifications:
- PhD with 0-2 years relevant experience; may include
post-doctoral experience; or equivalent, such as M.S. with 6+ years
relevant experience; Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant
experience
- A degree in the following or related preferred: Cell Biology,
Cancer Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering Preferred
Qualifications:
- Strong background in experimental cancer biology, biochemical
and/or immunological techniques (e.g., ELISA, western blot, CRISPR,
lentiviral delivery, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry)
- Broad knowledge of cancer cell signaling and genetics
- Experience with mining cancer genomic databases (e.g. TCGA,
DepMAP, GDSC)
- Knowledge and expertise in oncology drug development,
therapeutic antibodies, and/or ADCs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability
to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences
- Demonstrated record of publications in high-quality scientific
journals and/or presentations at scientific conferences As the

is $106,000 to $138,000 per year based on skills, education and
experience relevant to the role. Other components of total
compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire
(with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when
