is responsible for providing a variety of casino games in
accordance with Squaxin Island Gaming procedures and internal
controls, and the rules and procedures of the game. A dealer must
consistently inform players of the rules and what is occurring as
the game progresses. Courtesy and helpfulness to players are

- Promotes and encourages positive customer relations both on and
off property.
- Demonstrate an working knowledge of dealing policies and
procedures in accordance with Squaxin Island Gaming Enterprise's
Internal Controls.
- Accepts work assignments and direction with a positive attitude
and builds good relationships with guests and co-workers.
- Controls the pace of the appropriate game as set by house
standards.
- Ensures that wagers are placed before cards are dealt, Roulette
wheel is spun or dice is tossed. Monitors assigned game and
notifies immediate supervisor of any disputes, problems or concerns
with either a patron or progress of the game.
- Accurately, announce winning numbers, colors or hand to
players.
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly and accurately perform
mathematical computations when determining a payout for a winning
wager or when collecting a losing wager.
- Verify beginning and ending chip money balances and confirm
supporting documentation. Receives fills and distributes
credits.
- Accurately, exchanges paper currency for playing chips at the
assigned game.
- Adhere to policies and procedures as outlined in S.I.G.E's
System of Accounting and Internal Controls.ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Responsible for knowing all events on the property.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Other duties may be assigned.Requirements: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty
satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- OR one year casino experience and/or completion of gaming
school / training
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the
Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
frequently required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger,
handle, or feel.
