This recruitment offers a $10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new
employees joining UW MedicineUW Medicine has an outstanding
opportunity for a part time (80% FTE, 32 hours per week), day shift
LACTATION CONSULANT (job profile: Registered Nurse 2) to join our
team. This position will support our outpatient Pediatrics Clinic,
located in the U-District of Seattle. This position will work
specifically with lactating pregnant and lactating postpartum
families, helping them make informed decisions on breastfeeding and
pumping.SCHEDULE:32 hours per week, day shift only. Some Saturday

here.RESPONSIBILITIES:As a RN Lactation Consultant, you will:Teach
and model evidence-based lactation practicesSupport a caseload of
patients across the perinatal and breastfeeding continuumProvide
patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation
servicesDocument care outcomes in Epic/MyChartAs needed, contribute
to the development of system-wide lactation standards, protocols,
and proceduresMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:2 years of current or recent
nursing experience with breastfeeding familiesAn active Registered
Nurse license in the State of WashingtonAn active International
Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) CertificationABOUT
