Jira/Confluence Support Engineer
11 month contract - Potential to convert to permanent role
Hybrid/Seattle 98121 *Not open to C2C or visa sponsorship. Overview:
Our high-profile client in the eCommerce industry is seeking a Jira/Confluence Support Engineer with 5_ years of experience supporting Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc. for an 11-month contract assignment in Seattle. This role is part of an Enterprise Engineering Team and it supports critical tools for the organization. Responsibilities include triage of incoming request and working with 2 other team members, a little backed upon request, will be involved in upgrading systems and testing. This team has a problem-solving culture and handles a wide variety of technical issues. This position has the potential to convert to a permanent role with this company. Key required skills:

• 5+ years of experience as an Application Support Engineer - strong knowledge of JIRA and CONFLUENCE tools within the ATLASSIAN stack of products.
• Administration of JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Atlassian Bitbucket would be a (nice to have)
• Familiarity with Atlassian 3rd party plug-ins (commonly used products - handful used on the project)
• Simple scripting like BASH, SHELL, Atlassian Scripting Preferred skills:
  • Any experience working in AWS environments would be helpful. If not, AWS other hosting environments would be fine like Azure and Google
  • Atlassian certifications for Jira, Confluence, etc. helpful
