Job Description

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) for a contract position.
The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites. QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

Candidate Requirements

• Manual Tester skills HIGHLY Preferred
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience 2-4 years industry experience testing software, including website applications.
    
  • Experience with QA process and Software Development Life Cycle.
    
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies and automation tools, with demonstrated QA experience in QAE role.
    
  • Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution on customer facing apps, devices, services or platforms
    
  • Demonstrated working closely with development and business teams to communicate impact and understand business requirements.
    
  • Strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results.
    
  • Creativity and initiative to improve test coverage, effectiveness and test process.

      • Stand ups in the morning
        
      • Every 2 weeks release process - bug fixes etc.
        
      • Validating all the features and bug fixes that are going to be released.
        
      • Writing Test Cases for new features
        
      • Making sure they pass the regression testing

        • Functional testing and how customer will be reacting to the application
