Job Description Description: Job Type: Full time Shift Schedule: M - Th 6a - 4:30p, Fri 7:30 - 4:30p Salary: $16 /hr Shavings Baler Operator Lignetics is developing a portfolio of consumer brands in several different categories including wood pellets for home heating, BBQ pellets for grilling, wood pellets and shavings for animal bedding, and a wood fiber-based cat litter. Each of our products have unique features and benefits but are all linked with a wonderful recycled, renewable, sustainable, and carbon neutral story. We turn recycled saw dust into value-add, branded consumer products. Responsibilities:Assist and operate various packaging equipmentWork in close proximity of machines that compress wood by-products generated from mill operations or like manufacturing processesOpen compression chamber doors, facilitates placement of bags and removal of bales from packaging equipmentRecord bales weights and keep records of daily activity per company standardsPerform routine maintenance on packaging equipmentRequires ability to learn and preform standard setups, adjustments, routine maintenance and operating characteristics of all packaging equipmentForklift certified or able to obtain forklift certification to perform basic forklift duties time to time required by the companyAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems Qualifications/Education:High School diploma or GED preferredManufacturing and production line experience preferredMust possess good eye, hand and foot coordinationAbility to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-taskMust be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per dayRequires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsRequires the ability to do simple math calculations Benefits:Annual bonusEmployee referral bonus program2 weeks paid time off + 2 floating holidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (FSA & HSA options)Educational assistanceLife insurance, short term & long-term disability401(k) with employer match & immediate vestingEmployee heating pellet programLignetics SWAG gear to include an annual pair of work boots & other PPE Requirements: PI208200903
