Job Description:
The FoundationWe are the largest nonprofitfighting poverty,
disease, and inequity around the world. Founded on a simple
premise: that people everywhere, regardless of identity or
circumstances, should have the chance to live healthy, productive
lives. By building a global and cultural workplace that
supportsgreater diversity, equity, and inclusion - of voices,
ideas, and approaches - together with our employees and partners,
we can help all people improve their lives from poverty and health
to education. As an organization we offer full healthcare premiums
coverage, generous paid time off, contribution to your retirement
fund, several employee communities, and a commitment to embedding
diversity, equity, and inclusion into everything we do.The TeamOur
Global Health Division harnesses advances in science and technology
to save lives in poor countries. We focus on the health problems
that have a major impact in developing countries but get too little
attention and funding. Where proven tools exist, we support
sustainable ways to improve their delivery. Where they don't, we
are uniquely positioned to invest in research and development of
new interventions, such as vaccines, drugs, and diagnostics. Our
work in infectious diseases focuses on strategies to fight and
prevent HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, neglected tropical
diseases, enteric and diarrheal diseases, and pneumonia. These
strategies are supported by functional teams that focus on
Discovery and Translational Sciences, Vaccine Development,
Integrated Development, and the Office of the President and
Strategy Planning and Management. These functional teams in Global
Health also support strategies for MNCH diseases, Women's Health,
and Family Planning even though they are now programmatically part
of the Gender Equality Division. The Integrated Portfolio Management
Team (IPM) within the Office of the President and Strategy Planning
and Management department is tasked with maximizing the health
impact of our product development investment portfolio, which is
similar in size to the largest pharmaceutical companies. We do this
by modeling the value/impact and the risk of most products in our
R&D pipeline which leadership uses to guide the foundation's
health investment strategy. The team also provides market analytics
support for product and launch planning, as well as product
introduction, predominantly for innovative products where channels
to market in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are immature
or lacking all together, e.g., therapeutics, in vitro diagnostics,
medical devices, nutrition and microbial interventions.Your RoleWe
are looking for an exceptional Senior Program Officer (SPO) to lead
and build capability for data acquisition, market analytics
development and modeling/forecasting for new innovative products.

and timely investment decisions related to human health
interventions, mainly by providing insights into the markets and
consumers, developing robust forecasts and health impact analyses
of innovative product introductions. The role offers a unique
opportunity to have an impact by providing insights through the
optimization of product and launch planning for products that will
save lives and reduce suffering in the world's low- and
middle-income countries. The position will report to the Deputy
Director, Integrated Portfolio Management and is either
