click here. The UWMC Cardiology Clinic has an outstanding
opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator Supervisor (Full-Time,
Day Shifts). This position directly supervises the Heart
Institute's Patient Care. This position provides PCC coverage as
part of the daily operations as needed, including, but not limited
to, scheduled and unscheduled absences. This position exists within
our department to train, support, coach, mentor, and provide
leadership to HI's Patient Care Coordinators. With the Heart
Institute's overall growing volumes, this leadership structure is
necessary in order to meet the needs in a structured and efficient
manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
---Make initial contact and provides information to the patient or
the referring physician on behalf of the Cardiology department as a
new patient to our clinic.
Skills and Competencies:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in a medically related or public relations field
AND two years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator OR
Equivalent education/experience
