Job Description:

Job Summary: Executes sales transactions (totals bill, accepts payment, and makes change) on the computerized POS system; sells tickets to planned events in the Point Event Center using an internet-based ticketing system; obtains or receives merchandise into inventory, provides a consistently high level of guest service to all casino patrons and guests in the gift shop. Brief description of duties: Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise. Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. Responsible for assembly, disassembly and storage of gift shop displays and merchandise. Sells merchandise and/or event tickets. Answers guest's questions regarding Gift Shop merchandise, Players Club programs and/or the casino in general. Obtains all casino, promotions and gift shop information for guest inquiries. Assists marketing in promoting promotions to guests and employees. Responsible for promoting positive image to guests. Brief description of qualification: Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous cash handling, retail experience, basic computer skills and guest service experience preferred. High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required. License/Certification: Must qualify for a Class III Gaming License issued from the Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming Commission. Background check and drug screening required.
