Job Description - GSE Supervisor - Fueling (2311264) Primary Location North America-US-WA-Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) Schedule Full-time Unposting Date Jul 22, 2023, 3:59:00 AM Organization Fueling Services Flat hourly rate FT:For candidates living in Washington the expected base payrate is $39/HR. Job Summary Operational, personnel and administrative lead of the assigned GSE Fueling Shop. Ensure to maintain all Ground Service Equipment at this Swissport station. Meet all local and governing laws. Must be willing to work in adverse climate conditions and flexible hours above ones scheduled. Job Responsibilities

• Definition of the maintenance strategy: in or outsourcing definition, partner selection and negotiation for outsourcing and subcontracting, application of global maintenance policies
• Definition of the optimal organizational structure: required roles and optimal staffing levels both in terms of support staff as well as mechanics. Ensure effective planning methods for manpower and equipment
• Management of human resources: promotions, performance tracking vs. standards, pay and incentive scheme definition, training programs etc.
• Management of the customer: negotiation of SLA, consulting on equipment replacement/ reallocation, problem management, periodic performance reviews, overall responsibility on customer billing etc.
• P&L responsibility for assigned business unit. Definition of the yearly budget and medium term strategic plan
• Compliance with legal/safety requirements: ensures the compliance with all legal/safety regulations both in terms of local country legislation as well as Swissport standards
• Management of warranty claims: verifies through the system whether the equipment maintained is under manufacturer warranty and manages appropriate claims Key Performance Indicators
  • Economic performance: yearly budget targets (budget vs. actual total costs and budget vs. actual workload).
  • Quality of work: customer service proxy (survey of customer satisfaction or other SLA parameter) Qualifications and Competencies
    • Bachelors or Associates degree a plus, but not required
    • Minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience in GSE maintenance, or equivalent (e.g. general vehicle maintenance).
    • Relevant Military experience also welcome.
    • Technical background (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
    • Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to schedule time and work load effectively
    • Distinct customer focus (internal and external)
    • Computer literacy including familiarity with computer aided maintenance tools
