We are currently seeking a Patent Associate - Junior to Mid-Level for our client in the Legal Services domain. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.Duration: 6 Months ContractLocation: RemoteRole: Patent Associate - Junior to Mid-LevelPrimary Skills: MarketingRole Description: The Patent Associate must have at least 3+ years of experience. For this role, you must be a junior to mid-level patent attorney with at least two years of patent preparation and prosecution experience. -As an ideal candidate, you must have an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work with clients of all sizes and in a variety of industries. A technical background in computer technology is required. -Hands-on experience with a wide variety of clients (from startups to Fortune 500 companies) and experience with a variety of technology areas such as mechanical devices, consumer products and designs is highly desirable. -Technical experience with cloud computing, cryptography, information security, robotics or block chain would also be desirable.Note: Only candidates with a CS, or BSEE degree, physics degree, or equivalent experience that are admitted to practice before the USPTO as a patent attorney should apply.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent technology domain experience. -Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experienceRelocation: This position will not cover relocation expensesTravel: NoLocal Preferred: YesNote: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C) Mastech Digital provides IT associates in digital and mainstream technologies, Digital Transformation Services around Salesforce.com and SAP HANA, as well as Digital Learning Services.
