The Associate Scientist will work with a multidisciplinary team for the analytical and functional biocharacterization of large molecule therapeutics and analysis of process related impurities. Experience with ELISA binding assays, DNA extraction, and PCR is preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and is interested in evaluating new technologies to gain efficiency. The ability to multitask and to work both independently and on high performing teams is essential. Responsibilities:

• Perform immunoassays an qPCR sample testing, analysis, and data reporting on process development samples
• Perform method development and method qualification
• Author SOPs and other technical documents
• General laboratory support duties such as ordering materials, preparing buffers and equipment maintenance Education Requirements:
  • BS in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Bioengineering, or related field with 0-5 years of experience Preferred Qualifications:
    • ELISA, cell-based assays, SPR, BLI
    • DNA manipulation, PCR, qPCR
    • Mammalian cell culture experience
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Experience with MS Office Applications The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $63,000 to $80,000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual's skills, experience and competitive market value.
