This role requires excellent communication skills with providers and staff about changes in the patient's condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Scrub, monitor, and circulate diagnostic and complex electrophysiology (EP) cardiology procedures--- Lead extractions and device implantations--- Participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the departmentREQUIREMENTS:--- 1 year of EP experience and Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program AND registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS)OR--- 1 year of EP experience and Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program AND Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist (RT)RCIS, CIS, Cardiovascular Tech Registered Cardiovascular Tech, Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Tech, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist, CV Technologist, RT, ARRT, CI, RCES, Radiologic Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology TechABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-MONTLAKE:UW Medical Center is an acute care academic medical center located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
