  • 26-week contract, flexible to shorter duration over 13 weeks
  • Travelers expected to work at least 3 holidays out of the Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's period
  • Minimum of 2 years experience & travel experience required
  • Must pass clinical review to receive an auto offer
  • Compact license accepted
  • Indicate WA license status on your profile: Active, in Process, or No License
  • Option to flex less than 26 weeks
  • Will accept first-time travelers
  • Can submit with pending WA license
  • Cardiovascular disease patient diagnoses, pre/post Cath Lab and IR procedures
  • Fresh Open Heart Surgery care
  • Unit needs strong travelers due to unseasoned staff
  • 4 days orientation
  • Validated skills for some competencies required

    • Previous permanent employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must have been separated for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position
    • CVICU experience required
    • Cardiac Surgical experience is REQUIRED

      • Schedule Information
      • Must be available to work at least 3 holidays out of 5 (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Patient diagnoses include cardiovascular disease, Pre/post Cath Lab and IR procedures, Fresh Open Heart Surgery
        • Special procedures include CABG, OHS, AAA, Valvular Repairs
        • Unit requires staff knowledgeable in IABP, Impella, VAD's, Pacemakers, Epicardial Pacer Management
        • CRRT/Dialysis and Hemodynamic Monitoring
        • Experience with Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Setup/Care, CPAP/BiPap, Trach Care, Vents
        • High Frequency Vents, Procedure Sedation, and RSI
        • Blood/Blood Products Administration
        • Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming, 12 Lead EKG skills
