single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of
routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit,
geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage
is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning

Earth.This role supports the development and operations of New
Glenn, a single-configuration heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of
routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth's orbit and beyond.
Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload
fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space.As part of a
hardworking team of diverse, engineers, you will apply broad
multi-disciplinary engineering (mechanical and
electrical/electronic) knowledge, skills, and methods as well as
computer/software systems to design and engineer the overall
systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and
integration. In this role you will design, implement, install,
maintain, and administer infrastructure including hardware,
software, and various configurations. Among your responsibilities
will be to monitor overall performance in order to proactively
identify potential issues and tune them appropriately. You will
also perform root cause analysis on failed components and implement
corrective measures while working with others to establish and
improve processes and procedures.We are looking for someone to

are not limited to:
- Work across vehicle stages and subsystems and support
integrated launch system design, certification, and
sustainment
- Utilize and develop system engineering processes, ensure
consistent and high-quality implementation across the program, and
serve in a systems integration capacity working with
multidisciplinary teams to create technical solutions
- Support the alignment and consistent implementation of New
Glenn system engineering practices for system to lower-level
program tiers as well as across different program systems
- Support the development, allocation, verification of
requirements at all levels of the program using tools like DOORS
Next Gen, system lifecycle configuration management tools, and
other functional analysis tools
- Develop health metrics to provide insight into program health
relative to major milestones and participate in program gated
reviews
- Perform at a high-level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
and be an incredible team member!Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in engineering
- Proven experience with large-scale aerospace programs
- 5+ years of relevant, post graduate experience
- Experience in at least one of the areas of analysis, design, or
integrated testing
- Experience in at least one of focused subject area of
mechanical, fluids, thermal, propulsion, avionics or electrical
hardware and/or software, telemetry/communications, structures,
ground operations or flight/ground autonomy
- Possess skills in system thinking, excellent written and oral
communication skills, proactive in moving a program forward through
team collaborations to achieve timely decisions, ability to earn
trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and
contribute to a collaborative, inclusive culture
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident
(current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as
a refugee or granted asylum
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional

Qualifications:
- System development, integration, test, and certification
experience with aerospace systems (hardware and software)
- Deep knowledge of requirements validation and traceability,
functional analysis, architecture definition, safety analysis,
technical performance monitoring, strategies and approaches to
specialty engineering (operability, reliability, maintainability,
supportability, producibility), and other system product life cycle
processes
- Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS Next
Gen
- Launch vehicle experienceCompensation Range for:WA applicants
