Are you looking for an opportunity to train machine learning models and deploy them in real-life situations for the greater good?As a Sr. Research Scientist II, you will investigate research approaches, assess implementation risks, and define success metrics for multiple AI/ML projects while collaborating with research scientists and machine learning engineers. You will be involved in the entire AI innovation lifecycle, from model prototyping to deployment and continuous learning.The ideal candidate will have a proven scientific background and a track record of successfully researching and delivering scalable AI-based products with hands-on execution.   • Drive phases in ML development: shape datasets, investigate ML architectures, train/evaluate/tune models, implement end-to-end pipelines.
  • Leverage state-of-the-art research to deliver high-quality models for multiple AI projects at scale.
  • Contribute to the research community via publications, tech blogs, open-source code, and AI challenges.What You Bring
  • A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of research experience developing LLM and other NLU models.
  • Experience in all phases of ML development lifecycle.
  • Experience with big data and data-efficient ML techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and code review tools like GitHub.
  • Experience in prompt engineering and finetuning ML models.
  • Experience developing LLM-based applications including agent-based and RAG systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and APIs (e.g., OpenAI).
  • Deep understanding of evaluation metrics for LLM systems.
  • Track record of publications and community contributions.
  • Experience designing and shipping ML-powered software products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across different aspects of ML.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with scientists, engineers, and product managers.Preferred
    • A Ph.D. in a related field.
    • Knowledge of privacy-preserving ML and ethical AI.
    • Experience with distributed ML and deploying models in cloud environments.
