Job Description:
The Worldwide Operations organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization.
We need someone who is bright and motivated, with a proven history of high performance, to senior leadership on our Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) team in Seattle, Washington.
This role requires outstanding planning, time management, and organizational skills.
Superior attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple requests is critical.
A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior executives is imperative.
A good sense of humor is a must, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction at a moment's notice.
The ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group is essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel.

Story Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects:
Overview of your team/Purpose of this team: Org size 40K people global, global specialist fulfillment. Operations for Client fresh, Client pantry, Client Treasure Truck, and deliveries from whole foods.

Reason for the request:
VP EA going out on maternity leave.

Typical Day in the Role:
Calendaring and Prioritization
Accepting/receiving requests of VP time and organizing and jointly organizing.
It will predominately be calendaring day to day

Will this person be managing any individual calendars? If so, how many?
They will be managing 1 VP's calendar. If they are the right fit, another VP may be placed in the mix.

How large is the team this person will be supporting?
Only will be supporting the VP
What level of Excel skills does this role require: Pivot tables / VLOOKUP (Basic?)
Will this role require any advanced event planning/coordination experience?
Nice to have and not a requirement.
No events will be coordinated.
Interaction level with team: Frequent cross function coordination with other senior level EA's
Work environment description: pretty fun corporate team that operates similar to a start up
Chance for extension later: Yes. There are several EA positions open on their team right currently.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience providing Executive Assistant support for senior level executives in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Experience with domestic and international travel coordination
- Experience with space planning
- Bachelor's degree required

- Grace under pressure, and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice
- Ability to handle administrative details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed
