Lead Space Configuration and Data Management Analyst, Puget Sound area, WABoeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking a Configuration and Data Management Analyst (Level 4) in the Puget Sound area in support of Space & Launch programs.- This position will define and allocate Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.- Further, this position will be responsible executing the configuration management discipline on a specific program. As part of the group, you will be required to work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space, and provide support for multiple programs that are executing over a wide product life-cycle.- Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and delivery of operational products.Position Responsibilities:

• Leads the implementation of Configuration Management and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools
• Executes the configuration management discipline
• Works with a wide variety of customers (internal and external) in matters relating to Configuration Management and Data Management
• Leads and directs the definition and allocation of Configuration Management and Data Management requirements for product hardware and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle
• Oversees and leads the development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of processes and product baselines of highly integrated complex products across multiple sites and suppliers
• Assures the integration of product elements, including the analysis and resolution of complex issues related to engineering product structure across multiple sites and suppliers
• Must possess good organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
• Must have demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments
• Works under minimal direction
• Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated eventsThis position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • This position requires an active Top Secret /or equivalent Q level U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • Must have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • Configuration Management experience, including the transition from development to production
    • Data Management experience
    • Space-related product / program experience (i.e. satellites, spacecraft, missile systems, etc.)Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
