Job Description:

The Field Solution Architect Consultant provides technical pre-sales support to the sales force and provides prospective customers with product and solution advice during pre-sales discussions. The Field Solution Architect will participate in the acquisition and retention of customers by utilizing world-class technical pre-sales solution consulting techniques to communicate the power, flexibility, and ease-of-use of the ServiceNow platform.Key Areas of ResponsibilityAssist sales in the qualification of customer needs through discoveryParticipate across the sales lifecycle on acquiring strategic customersDemonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored, to prospects and existing customers, via onsite visits or via web conferencingGeneration of product demo scripts and scenarios and maintaining demonstration environment(s)Scoping and delivering Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospectsResponding to Request for Information/Proposal documentsStaying current on product developments/releases to a level required for demo and POC/POVSupporting Marketing events -user conferences, trade shows, webinars etc.Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between the company and its competitorsResponsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, security etc.In conjunction with Sales and Delivery Services, participate in internal hand-off meeting -communicate commitments, expectations, etc. in preparation for projectAct as the ServiceNow subject matter expert at executive briefings / marketing eventsContribute to the continual improvement of Delivery and Advisory Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of customer needs and requirementsProvide mentorship and guidance to other members of the teamEnsure all time is recorded accurately and keep calendar up-to-date with scheduled activitiesOther duties and responsibilities as assignedEducation and/or Experience QualificationsAt least 5+ years strong pre-sales experience, particularly with ITSM experience (tool and business process)Required QualificationsMastery of the Sales process and trusted advisor for account representativeDemonstrated technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technologyExceptional communication and presentation skills to include technical and business conceptsDemonstrated experience in supporting sales campaigns to commercial and enterprise customersServiceNow Pre-Sales Accreditations in all product linesExperience-based understanding of project lifecycle including all aspects of sales, transition to delivery, and delivery executionExtensive demonstration experience covering technical and value needsAbility to understand good design practices with both process and ServiceNowActive listening skills, respecting others' point of view and takes ownership of contributing the required input while demonstrating strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, and presentational)Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversityOwnership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work effortsMaturity, professionalism, and judgment; ability to excel with minimum supervisionCommitment to customer satisfaction and supports our brand promise and guarantee to always "make it right"Ability to travel 25% of the timePreferred QualificationsDegree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, and proven experience in technical consulting roles.Hands-on, real-world development and project experienceITIL Foundations certificationFamiliarity with organizational change management concepts and approachesCDW is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
