Job Description: Job Summary: Performs interlibrary loan process. Supports processing and publication of course reading lists as well as integration of publisher course resources in the learning management system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Initiate, verify and complete borrowing requests for interlibrary loans using OCLC's FirstSearch system; receive items and enter them into local integrated library system; maintain records of requests. * Respond to interlibrary loan lending requests from a variety of sources; verify requests and complete transactions; account for all returned items. * Compile and report various statistics on interlibrary loan activities; manage copyright payments for interlibrary loan items to ensure compliance. * Review course reading lists, standardize citation metadata, add list price, and publish reading lists. * Coordinate publisher integrations of course resources into the learning management system; establish and maintain integrations; manage billing with each publisher. * Troubleshoot with faculty and students when issues arise. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in library technology or related fields; or minimum of three years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Experience with interlibrary loan procedures, OCLC and FirstSearch preferred. * Excellent organizational, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills. * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within groups. * Proficient with basic MS Office tools.
