The JobThe Business Intelligence (BI) team is committed to democratizing data'amaking it easy to access at the right time, in the right format, for all users. If you have a deep curiosity and a passion for translating data insights into actionable business solutions, we want to chat with you!Reports To: Director, Business IntelligenceAs a Business Intelligence Analyst at Tango Card, you'll:Collaborate with business owners to understand short- and long-term objectives and author technical requirements to meet needs.Build and evolve dashboards, self-service reporting tools, and analytic models that accelerate operations and strategic management decisions.Define requirements and develop prototypes for data models in collaboration with the data architect and director to make data more accessible, consistent, and clear.Apply data visualization techniques, tools, and libraries to business problems, presenting information in a format that's intuitive, useful, and flexible.Develop predictive analytic models to surface insights and facilitate proactive decision-making.Suggest process and system improvements that promote data integrity, adoption of best practices, and generate operational efficiencies across teams.To be effective in our Business Intelligence Analyst role, you must have:3+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing high-performance, scalable, and secure business intelligence and analytic solutions in a high-volume environment2+ years of requirements gathering experience across multiple applications and business functions2+ years of experience authoring complex data visualizationsProficient in SQL and experience using R and/or PythonSkilled at solving ambiguous problems and thinking both forward and proactively when designing analytic solutionsDemonstrated success collaborating across geographically dispersed teams with a diverse set of technical backgroundsAbility to maintain exemplary communication and a customer-focused approach while working across multiple projectsA willingness to collaborate, embrace change, and apply entrepreneurial approaches to analytic solutionsOur ideal Business Intelligence Analyst will have most of the following skills and experience: Experience with TableauPractical predictive modeling experienceFamiliarity with Git/GitHub, Jira, and Agile workflows are a plusPlease note: visa sponsorship is available for this position. #BI-RemoteWhat You'll Get From UsCompetitive compensation package (money isn't everything, but it helps)Medical, dental, and vision benefits (100% employer paid premium)Unlimited PTO and a generous holiday schedule401(k) matching and equity opportunities (401(k) is a 100% match of up to 6%)Home-Office grant for ensuring a great WFH environment during social-distancing measuresAward-winning culture that fosters autonomy, creativity, inclusion, transparency, and ownershipContinued education and self-growth opportunities through UdemyVirtual fitness benefits through ClasspassDog-friendly officesWhat We're Up to at Tango CardTango Card helps thousands of companies reach their goals by making rewards and incentives easy to send and awesome to receive.
