Job DescriptionJob descriptionTown and Country is seeking a
motivated and qualified Production Manager to join our team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for managing and
overseeing all functions related to production and workflow
scheduling within the company. The position requires a high level
of competence, strong leadership, and commitment to their role.
This position will also report directly to the President.
Construction experience is preferred but not required.Permabilt
Industries, Inc. with its Town & Country Post Frame Buildings
Division is the largest post frame building contractor in Western
Washington. Since 1973, a specialization in design and construction
of post and wood frame, steel-covered buildings have brought Town &
Country to a level of quality and workmanship few can surpass. Town
& Country has produced over 23,000 structures to date. This is a
high volume, quality, and service-oriented position. The Role:As
Production Manager you will be working closely with department
managers to develop and maintain production schedules, negotiate
contracts, oversee vendor quality performance, interact with
customers, manage off-site production, supervise, and motivate
production personnel consisting of office and field staff.
Management of our field staff takes place from our administration
headquarters due to the nature of our projects (short project
duration and large geographic range). You will be responsible for
ensuring production is cost effective, all jobs are brought within
budget, performance measures and planned efficiencies are met or
exceeded through change management processes and best practices.The
Requirements:The position requires knowledge and experience in
manufacturing or construction related logistics and production
processes. Although this is a construction company, applicants with
manufacturing and logistics backgrounds are strongly encouraged to
apply. The right applicant must demonstrate leadership,
implementation, and consumer relation skills. He/She should be a
motivated, dependable individual with ability to manage several
projects and exhibit strong attention to detail and
