Assembler - Production Operative*This ad serves to fill multiple vacancies, including limited term/fixed duration, temporary full-time, or temp to hire.*Reports to: Area Team Lead Department: Final AssemblyFLSA Status: Non-ExemptShift: Monday-Thursday 6:30 am-5:15 pmLocation: Tukwila WASalary: Up to $18.00/hourSummary Description: The primary responsibility of the Production Operative Assembler is to use the production machinery and equipment for daily output of a range of products required by Red Dot customers. He/she will act as a link in a chain that involves several manufacturing processes and other operators. To ensure the highest level of services are provided, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): -- Treat safety as the #1 priority. Drive Quality Control standards. Work in a safe and accident free-manner, complying with company policies, procedures and code of safe practices.-- With training and guidance, have the ability to build products to the specified rate.-- Use Method Sheets to follow the predesigned process steps and ensure standardized work. -- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.-- Building and installing motors-- Build and install heating, cores and evaporators-- Calibrating F-21 & I-24 tester-- Ability to multi-task-- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.-- Ability to be cross trained and work in other areas as assigned.-- Other duties as assigned.-- Exceed expectations by providing professional, courteous and efficient service at all times. -- Drive quality control standards at all times. Identify and address concerns immediately.-- Exercise care of all tools, machines and equipment through proper use and storage.-- Maintain clean work areas including daily sweeping of floors, racking of tools and related equipment.PM19

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:--- High school diploma or equivalent required.--- Ability to access data on a computer and accurately enter information required.--- Able to interpret blueprints method sheets and standard work.--- Able to communicate and manage work priorities and proper work practices effectively. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:-- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must have the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, up to 5 - 10 hours per day-- The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.-- Sufficient manual dexterity and motor control to use common drafting implements and calculators.*Red Dot Corporation will be moving its facility from Tukwila, WA to Puyallup, WA in January 2023*PI197740288
