JOBThe City of Issaquah is looking for a dynamic and energetic Systems Analyst to work with our team supporting a wide range of systems and technologies across multiple departments in our city. -This position is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and support of IT hardware and software. -Additionally, the position is responsible for creating and managing users and groups in a hybrid Active Directory/Office 365 environment. -The IT team also aids with training in the use of computer, mobile, and peripheral equipment to end users. as well as helps to maintain the integrity and security of the City?s Information Systems. -Suitable candidates will enjoy working with our fast paced team with constant learning and sharing of technical expertise. -REPORTS TO: - IT Systems Supervisor -WORK ENVIRONMENT: -Work is performed in an office environment with travel between City buildings, work stations and multiple city departments including public safety (police) and legal (court). Work requires some physical effort including lifting, bending, reaching and carrying computer equipment (15-49 pounds). Seeing, hearing and speaking to exchange information happens throughout the day. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer equipment. Sitting for extended periods of time. We believe diversity and inclusion among our teammates is critical to the success of our City operations. -EXAMPLE OF DUTIES -ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: -Test, diagnose and resolve end user desktop hardware, OS, and application problems, including the ability to identify desktop application interdependencies and or conflicts.Coordinate with vendors for hardware parts, repairs, and replacements.Troubleshoot printer, copier and scanner problems.Create, Rebuild and optimize operating system images and install new device hardware.Create and manage user and group accounts in a hybrid Active Directory/Office 365 environment.Respond to end-user requests for service on problematic systems and/or equipment. -Manage helpdesk ticket system, distribute incoming tickets to IT team members.Act as a point of escalation for system and application analyst team. -Participate in team technology training regimen to stay current. -MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:An associate degree with a major in computer science, information systems, business information systems, business administration, or a closely-related field, or professional certification in one or more fields of computer technology.One year of experience monitoring and maintaining computer systems, servers and security.One or more of the following industry certifications: A+, Net+, Sec+, MCP, MCSE, CCNA, etc. are preferred though equivalent experience can be substituted.Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.VACCINATION -All new hires to the City will be required as a condition of employment to be -fully vaccinated -for COVID-19 prior to start date.
