Demand Planner - Production Control Specialist, Sr.

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists, you will review and approve initial intake of program demand for various spaceflight systems. Your review will validate demand accuracy and intent as well as delivery commitments. Upon approval you will enter orders into the demand management system and continue to manage orders through completion. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of manufacturing deliverables. In this role, you will utilize advanced planning and scheduling platforms to create Blue Origin's production schedule. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have great attention to detail to improve and maintain data integrity within our systems while also working to improve our demand management systems and strategies. Specialists in this role are expected to take full ownership over their orders by ensuring that the MRP output and the production schedule accurately reflect manufacturing needs and priorities while holding teams accountable to on time delivery.

  • Minimum of a AA or Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to thrive in a high energy, high growth dynamic environment
  • 5 years schedule or project management experience
  • Experienced with using inventory and ERP/MRP systems
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

    • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Project Management
    • Intermediate Excel proficiency
    • Experience working within a PLM system, such as Windchill
    • Experience in both development and production environments
    • Experience in low volume, high complexity, engineer to order environments
