big picture. What does Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) do?
SI&T integrates, verifies, and validates our products.We put
our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field,
measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work
the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans
and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces,
develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our

Summary: The Weapons and Platforms Center within SI&T seeks
talented Electrical Engineers to join our Hardware in the Loop
(HWIL) Departments. In this role, you'll be challenged to design,
build, and integrate state-of-the-art test environments as part of
our multi-disciplined team. You'll work with weapon system
designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate,
and deploy the systems to help support tactical software
development, testing, and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.

from you. Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary, fast- paced team that
supports multiple products
- Contribute to systems architecture activities to ensure systems
level solutions compatible with embedded hardware capabilities
- Develop with System Verilog, Verilog or VHDL languages, Xilinx,
Altera, Lattice, or Microsemi devices and tool sets
- Work with timing closure and clock domain crossing techniques
for devices with multiple clock domains
- Use Azure DevOps to develop burn-down plans using Agile
planning methods Qualifications You Must Have :
- Requires Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline, and a minimum of five
(5) years of prior relevant experience OR a Master's degree and a
minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience includes firmware development and working
with FPGAs
- Proficiency using hardware description language (VHDL)
simulation tools, such as Mentor ModelSim/Questa or NCSim
- Experience with FPGA design
- Experience in Xilinx, Altera, Lattice or Microsemi programmable
devices
- Active and transferrable US Government issued security
clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is
required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security
clearance
- Please note that many of our programs also require Single Scope
Background Investigation (SSBI) Qualifications We Value:
- Familiarity with Linux and a scripting language such as tcl,
python, bash, or equivalent is desired, as well as experience
maintaining source code using git or equivalent source control
tool
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Xilinx 7 series, Ultra, or Ultrascale+ devices
- Source control tool such as git or similar
- Use of Gigabit interface cores such as PCIe, SATA or
Aurora
- JESD-204a/b/c for DACs or ADCs
- DDR and flash memories
- IBERT tools
- Digital signal processing
- Graphics Processing Units (GPUs)
- Mixed VHDL and Verilog designs
- AXI, SPI, UART, I2C, SDLC
- Ethernet
- Electrical standards such as LVDS, CML, RS-422, RS-485
- Real time systems
- Board designs with FPGA devices
- SoC software development using C, C++ or C#
