Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Shipping Clerk



Position type: Full-time Contract to Hire

Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Location: Woodinvile, WA

Monday - Friday 8 hrs/day shift

As a Shipping Clerk you will:
Job description:
Plans and directs shipping arrangements for all surface and air shipments to domestic or international destinations.
Maintains current information on shipping regulations and ensures our procedures are in compliance.
Receives and verifies the accuracy of product and shipment orders for shipment to customers.
Provides all necessary shipment documentation, including tariff and customs for international orders.
Arranges for shipment pick-up by carriers, and oversees the load-out of all orders.
Keeps accurate and complete records of orders sent.
Wraps pallets
Learns packaging for repairs shipments.
Prepares and maintains accurate shipping procedures manual to ensure consistency in shipping practices and for training/guiding others who fill in the shipper position.

Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEX, and International shipping is preferred.
During slow times, assists other material areas as needed.
Assist in Final Packaging including palletizing and order preparation.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally help left and/or move more than 100 pounds.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $20/hr - $23/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
