PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Technician in Bothell, WA.Pay Rate: $25.00 - $35.00Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areasConstructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systemsWorks from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructionsOperates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed formatPerforms calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutionsBasic Hiring Criteria:1-2 years of experience in Testing and Development1-2 years of experience in Cable Harness1-2 years of experience in Electronic TestingExperience in wire harness build and routingMechanical assembly history and familiarity with building and testing electrical systems and circuit boardsEducational background and/or experience in electronics or opticsExperience running, testing, and measuring lasers or complex optical systemsExceptional lab skills: ability to prototype, test, and debug electronicsExperience in handling fiber, fiber splicing equipment including fiber polishing equipmentExperience in testing analog, power electronics, RF, and digital circuitsIPC solder certificationDesired Qualifications:IPC-A-610IPC-J-STDIPC-WHMA-A-620This position requires access to technologies and hardware subject to US national security-based export control requirements.
