Volt is hiring a Quality Technician ll in Burlington, WA.

**1st and 2nd Shift Available -- Permanent Role**

As a Quality Technician ll you will:

Inspect output samples and ensure compliance with standards and legal requirements.
Review blueprints and specifications to verify produced goods.
Record inspection results and input data into the quality database.
Train production teams on quality control measures.
Propose and implement improvements to the production process.
Monitor equipment safety and discard non-compliant items.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and radiographs.
Perform testing at various manufacturing stages.
Collect and compile statistical quality data.
Assist in developing test methods and inspection plans.
Determine root causes of product defects and scrap.
Verify equipment calibration.
Conduct quality controls on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
Support production staff on quality and process issues.
Create statistical analysis and reports on material and product quality.
Maintain measurement instruments according to WI and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

Proven proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office and Excel programs, and statistical software packages.
Excellent understanding of problem-solving techniques including 8D, 5Why's, Fishbone, etc.
Ability to learn and apply new knowledge to resolve problems.
Knowledge of reading blueprints/ GD&T Drawings

This is a Full-time, Permanent opportunity

1st Shift: 6am - 6pm, $26/hr

2nd Shift: 6pm - 6am, $28/hr

(12 hour shifts, 2-2-3 Schedule)

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
