Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Technicians (Day & Night Shifts) in Burlington, Washington.

These are Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunities.

Schedule:
Pitman Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (e.g., 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM for Day Shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM for Night Shift).
Shifts are 12 hours, with 11 hours paid due to two 30-minute unpaid breaks.
Teams work on alternate days (e.g., Monday/Tuesday ON, Wednesday/Thursday OFF, Friday/Saturday/Sunday ON, then the schedule flips).
Must be able to work rotating shifts, overnights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $28 - $43 per hour.
Shift differential may apply.
Relocation Assistance Available

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Qualifications:
4-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment OR 2 years of maintenance experience with a recognized trade certification (e.g., 309A Electrician or 433A Industrial Mechanic).
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is mandatory.
Working knowlegde of electrical and mechanical equipment of industrial PCs and PLCs (e.g., Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, Allen Bradley) and HMI (computer screens).
Ability to diagnose issues with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in reading various schematics and diagrams.
Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment, PLC systems, Robots, AC & DC drives, servo drives, motion controls, safety sensors, and relays.
Knowledge of equipment set-up, functions, operating procedures, and preventative maintenance techniques.

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will:
Perform preventative maintenance on facility and process equipment (automated manufacturing equipment).
Attend to equipment downtime and perform unplanned maintenance as required.
Diagnose and repair basic to medium complex electrical systems, mechanical components, pneumatic components, and controls to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for data entry and to record work completed.
Read electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics/diagrams, and basic ladder/function block logic.
Test low voltage electrical and electronic equipment and components.
Support installation, set-up, modification, and relocation of equipment.
Handle multiple types of machinery (18-22 pieces of machinery in a chaotic, busy department).
