The pay rate for this position at hire is $32.98/hr ($68,600.00/yr). Current THA employees transferring into this position are placed in line with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. What You'll Do:As a Maintenance Specialist, you'll ensure THA's properties are enjoyable places to live and work. Your responsibilities will include:Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.Performing basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, and heating.Conducting general maintenance and custodial services, including for turn over and lease up, event prep, and other activities.Coordinating workload with property management staff and completing work orders promptly.Maintaining inventory control over equipment and supplies.Accompanying staff and outside personnel during inspections and treatments.Identifying and addressing potential hazards and safety concerns. Who You Are:You're a skilled professional with:A high school diploma or GED (technical/trade school maintenance program and certification preferred).5+ years of related building maintenance experience.Knowledge of safe work practices and the ability to use various hand and power tools and other equipment safely and effectively.Basic landscaping knowledge and computer skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully and effectively with diverse individuals.A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Availability for on-call shifts and after-hours emergencies. During this time, employees train, onboard, and perform their work in-person/in-office.
