Workplace Strategy & Change Management Consulting
The Consultant in the Workplace Strategy & Change Management practice will support the development and implementation of workplace programs, enterprise initiatives, and real estate strategies within an account organization. S/He will enhance and expand our existing workplace strategies expertise and capabilities through research and development of new ideas, programs, tools, techniques, and processes. S/He will participate in the creation and/or maintenance of workplace programs and people strategies at multiple client locations. S/He will enhance existing programs and develop new ones to meet client enterprise and business objectives of improving employee engagement in the workplace, optimize assets, and drive transformational change. An Associate will explore and develop enterprise and line of business workplace strategies, recommendations, and support implementation of those strategies and programs for the account organization.
Requirements:
Acts as the primary contact and project design SME on corporate projects to ensure timely and successful implementation of workplace planning initiatives that are compliant with corporate guidelines
Manages and provides design support and guidance to project management by interfacing with the external design team and represent the voice of the users to address and communicate design related intent and issues
Defines high-level program requirements with workstyle type and recommended work settings in combination with strategic portfolio and space analytics
Leads components of research activities and pilots
Analyzes and synthesizes on quantitative and qualitative data from workplace research activities such as surveys, utilization studies, and focus groups
Supports the development of client communications and change management plans
Contributes to recommendations and client deliverables
Partners with account and client leadership, as well as project team members to ensure that workplace objectives and strategic direction are achieved, implemented and maintained
Develops and maintains workplace and environmental brand standards
Partners with other client groups as required to co-develop enterprise work and/or workplace strategies or align to their strategies
Leads or participates in strategy and visioning sessions and cross-functional initiatives especially as they relate to the nature of work and business capabilities.
If needed: Maintains end to end Workplace Design Guidelines control to ensure guidelines are implemented to specifications, space efficiency, level of quality, costs and design intent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor s degree in Architecture, Interior or Environmental Design
Must be able to demonstrate 3-4 years of direct experience in with workplace strategy development, implementation and change communication. Experience in commercial architecture, interior design, workplace planning and programming, project management or building construction, life safety and building codes and migration management with corporate real estate and/or financial services organizations experience preferred
LEED AP, WELL AP, LaMarsh, and/or CoreNet MCR designation is preferred
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Workplace Strategy Development Principles and Methodologies
Ability to present and articulate ideas and analyses
Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
Experience in large change initiatives
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity and complex challenges
Ability to comfortably interface with and influence all levels of management and to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and distributed teams
Strong cross functional collaboration capabilities
Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate willingness to take on new responsibilities
Ability to work independently upon receiving direction from others
Strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail
Comfort in translating large data sets into compelling findings
Process orientated and capacity to assess and shift priorities as required in order to ensure deadlines are met
Highly proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Powerpoint, Excel
Experience working with other software preferred (e.g., Tableau, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD/Revit)
