The Outside Sales position is responsible for driving growth of our total value proposition within the assigned territory. - The Outside Sales position requires a combination of services and software sales experience, marketing, customer-focus, and business acumen. You must enjoy spending time in the market to identify target opportunities, drive them to closure and find innovative solutions to extend SIMCO market share via penetration of new logos and saturation of our unified value proposition. - Additionally, the Outside Sales position focuses on growth Repair and Calibration Services as well as CERDAAC Service Manager----- - Software as a Service as a strategically significant priority for SIMCO. -Outside Sales personnel are required to contribute to Goals tied to our Objectives & Key Results (OKR) as we Measure What Matters. - This role will require identifying new calibration and software opportunities, working closely with SIMCO clients and prospects, partnering with the SIMCO software, operations, and marketing teams to achieve aggressive software and Repair + Calibration growth objectives. This position will develop and conduct software demonstrations to clients to drive new software business through the funnel. This position reports directly to SIMCO's Head of Area Sales. - Primary Responsibilities - Software and Repair + Calibration Sales Growth - - - - - - - - Quota - win new bookings, upsell, and retention, accountability for territory sales performance to quota - - - - - - - - Direct Selling - meet directly with clients to present/sell SIMCO suite of calibration and software services - - - - - - - - Unified Value Proposition - meet directly with clients to present and sell SIMCO unified value proposition - - - - - - - - Target Segments - penetrate and saturate tier 1 clients in lives-at-stake segments - - - - - - - - Drive Pipeline - maintain as our system of record and source of truth for sales pipeline Other Responsibilities - Sales & Marketing Support - - - - - - - - Market Intelligence - be expert on software customers, incl. how they buy, award criteria - - - - - - - - Culture - champion total value proposition across the sales team and throughout SIMCO - - - - - - - - Competition - be expert on competition, gather and analyze information, know how to win - - - - - - - - Collaboration - collaborate with other SIMCO business development team members - - - - - - - - Client-Ready Presentations - develop scripted narratives in collaboration with marketing - - - - - - - - Sales Reports - Manage and communicate software sales forecasts, sales pipeline, and sales results - - - - - - - - Enterprise-Up - collaborate w/Enterprise Account Owners to penetrate/saturate lives-at-stake enterprises - - - - - - - - Area Sales Team - engage directly with sales teammates to win new calibration and software sales - - - - - - - - Demo Expertise - be expert in software demonstration skills and mastery Qualifications - - - - - - - -1-3 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience - - - - - - - -1-2 years of experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) - - - - - - - -Experience in B2B sales, experience selling at Fortune 500 VP+ Level - - - - - - - -Internal "Start-up" - / Growth Division experience (developing, finding, honing, executing new value prop) - - - - - - - -Medical Device experience, selling to MD (not working at MD G50), equivalent = highly regulated - - - - - - - -Fit with SIMCO values, culture, and people - - - - - - - -Bachelor's degree (MBA not required, but a strong plus) - - - - - - - -Strategic and Conceptual Selling alumni preferred - - - - - - - -Excellent written and verbal communication skills - - - - - - - -Experience with asset management or maintenance management systems is a plus Working Environment and Travel - - - - - - - -Office environment, travel to meet with clients and SIMCO sales force (up to 50%) SIMCO Calibration and Repair Services Since its founding in Silicon Valley in 1962, SIMCO has always placed top priority on providing the highest quality technical services and receiving accreditation and certification to national and international quality standards.
