      Responsibilities

      • Sell insurance products to direct inbound callers (and in some instances making outbound calls) by gathering data from customers to generate quotes and ultimately bind the business.
      • Educate customers regarding coverages and cost so that the customer can select the most appropriate option.
      • Qualify customers as buyers of other products/services and refers cross-sell opportunities as required.
      • Educate customers on benefits of self service, paperless, and automated payments.

        Requirements

        • Excellent customer focus. The ability to multi-task. The ability to quickly pick up new technology. Preference to working in an ever-changing, fast-paced, contact center environment.
        • Education - High School diploma or equivalent.
        • The ability to obtain resident/non-resident property and casualty license in all states. Completion of required additional training.
        • Experience in personal lines, P&C insurance sales or the equivalent retail or call center sales experience preferred.
        • Direct sales skills and ability to close a sale
        • Ability to establish strong customer relationships.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
        • Strong PC and software skills required.
