Seattle Radiology is a Radia Imaging Center, located near downtown Seattle in the Nordstrom Tower. Our facility is open Monday-Friday. We're hiring for a full-time Patient Services Representative II.Seattle Radiology is located on a narrow strip of land between the salt waters of the Puget Sound and the fresh waters of Lake Washington, Seattle is known for its bustling waterfront, lush evergreen forests and the picturesque backdrop of the San Juan Islands. Just beyond the water are two rugged mountain ranges, the Olympics to the west and the cascades to the east.Position: This position is located on-site, at Seattle Radiology.Compensation:Hourly salary range is $22.37 - 26.95 - $32.34. Salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.Benefits:2 Medical plans to choose from, dental, vision, life, and LTDHSA and FSA availableA 401(k)-employer match, with a profit-sharing componentUp to 21 paid days off per year8 paid holidays annuallyLife and disability insuranceFree onsite parkingLearning opportunities through professional development programsEducational AssistanceService bonusDiscretionary annual performance-based bonusThe Patient Services Representative's primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding customer service for all our patients and internal/external customers, while being responsible for all aspects of medical reception.Responsibilities:Performs a variety of clerical functions that support the overall Imaging CenterAbility to provide excellent in person and phone service, to a high volume of patientsAccurately enters patient information in a timely mannerEnsures the accuracy of patient demographic information, scheduling information and insurance/authorization informationPositively provides medical reception to patients following provided guidelinesAbility to meet performance metrics, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and timelinessAbility to de-escalate conflict situations and or, knows when to engage assistance from department supervisorQualifications and Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of medical office experience, radiology preferredRadiology scheduling experience, preferredKnowledge of medical insurance, preferredKnowledge of Electronic Medical Record system(s), preferredMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work responsibly and to maintain patient confidentialityMust be very proficient in computer skills, multi-tasking and working with several software programs at the same timeDemonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactionsAbout RadiaRadia is one of the largest and most progressive radiology groups in the nation.
