Splunk is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented individual to join our dynamic pre-sales team. You will work together with Splunk---s direct sales team on the solution and technical aspects of selling Splunk---s solutions to our largest commercial Enterprise clients. Our clients span all business sectors and sizes. You'll be the subject matter expert for our team serving our customers and prospects in the Seattle, WA region.

You will have the responsibility for actively driving and leading the technology evaluation stage of the sales cycle. Working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor, you will be an advocate for Splunk---s products and services.
*Location*: You should be located in or near Seattle, WA.
* Demonstrate and present Splunk products services to customers, both on-site and remotely via webinar sessions.
* Willing to travel to visit prospects and customers, and to engage in onsite customer work where required.
* Become a trusted advisor to the customer, turning into a trusted extension of the customer---s team.
* Should be able to eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches.
* Organized and analytical approach to growing adoption and awareness of Splunk solution areas.
* Comfortable creating custom collateral, documents and artifacts --- that are relevant for the account.
* Generate custom-tailored demos, based on customer needs highlighted in the discovery process.
* Maintain an advanced level of awareness of the market landscape and competitive solutions.
* Passionate and relentless about all elements of customer success.
* 6 + years of related experience in selling and supporting software products to IT organizations.
* Hands-on experience with both Windows and Linux
* Experience architecting hardware-based server and storage solutions, in addition to Cloud and SaaS technologies
* Well-versed in IT Management, Network, Server, Application and Web Development
* Demonstrate strong customer facing and relationship building skills
* Experience providing presentations and demonstrations, to both technical and business audiences (Engineer to C-Level)
* Ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to solve those challenges
